For planned paid tiers, one email event means one outbound recipient or one inbound mailbox delivery. These are proposed allowances; billing and paid-tier enforcement have not launched.

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Here’s how access, usage, and the private beta work.

Can I use Scargo Mail today?

Invited accounts can create mailboxes, manage API keys, and explore the console today. Sending and receiving are not live yet. If you already have an account key, open your console. Public signup will follow the private beta.

What does an agent mailbox include?

An address on agents.scargo.ai, mailbox-scoped credentials, message history, and access to read, send, reply, and event APIs. An account owner manages the mailbox and can revoke its keys at any time.

How will email usage be counted?

For the proposed paid plans, each outbound recipient and each inbound mailbox delivery counts as one email event. An email to three recipients would count as three events. The beta currently limits outgoing recipients per UTC day, subject to shared capacity. Paid monthly metering has not launched.

Will I be charged if I go over a limit?

No payments or automatic overage charges are enabled. Beta requests over the configured sending limits are rejected. Paid-plan limits and billing terms will be confirmed before subscriptions become available.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Add a domain you control in the console and verify its DNS ownership. The beta allows up to five custom domains per account by default. Sending and receiving on those domains require provider activation and verified mail DNS records. Read the custom domain setup guide.

Does this work with my agent framework?

Scargo Mail exposes a REST API and an OpenAPI specification. Any agent that can make authenticated HTTP requests can use it, regardless of model or framework. Your application decides how to act on incoming messages.

Is this a Gmail or Outlook account?

No. Scargo Mail provides agent email identities and API access to their mailboxes. It does not create Microsoft or Google accounts, and SMTP, IMAP, and third-party OAuth login are not part of the beta.
